meeting the parts of ourselves we were taught to hide, and discovering the power and medicine they carry.
- Shadow work, not shadow removal. We won’t be trying to fix or get rid of anything. We’ll be getting to know the parts of ourselves that carry real power when they’re stirred, and learning to work with them instead of against them.
- A safe, sacred ceremony for going within. I’ll guide you through a gentle, practical ritual for meeting your shadow, and you set the depth. You can keep it soft, or go as deep and intense as you’re ready for.
- Meeting a part as an ally. Most of us will come to know at least one or two shadow parts closely during our time together. We’ll listen to what they have to say, honour why they exist (often for our survival and our truth), and explore what happens when we let them out of the cage.
- Bringing clarity to long-held struggles. Bring an area of your life where you’ve been stuck, maybe for decades or maybe only recently, without knowing why. Shadow work can shed light on it, sometimes for reasons we’d never have guessed.
- Many lenses on where shadows come from. We’ll look at personal experience, inherited and ancestral patterns, and energies picked up from people and places. For those who are curious, we’ll also look at past lives, contracts, and traditional understandings of hexes and attachments. You decide what’s true for you, and there’s no wrong or right way to do this work.
