I officially began my journey into herbal medicine in 2004 at Wild Rose College of Natural Healing in Calgary AB. Un-officially I started as far back as I can remember. The summer I was 4 I asked my father why eating certain wild plants (often weeds) made me feel better. At 6 I was guided to pick herbs and bark from around our house. I was shown to burn some, eat others and offer one to the sky in preparation for a ‘closed eye conversation’ with my guardians. I have always fiercely believed that our Mother Earth has provides us with an almost infinite amount of medicine.
Jumping into WRC in the winter of 2004 my passion grew exponentially for all things herbs and shortly found myself boarding at Dr. Terry Willard’s herb farm just outside of Calgary for many years. Here I had the opportunity to mentor one on one with Dr. Terry Willard and many more healers from his circle, taking in as much of this immense knowledge of healing as possible. At the Chiron Farm I had the opportunity to learn how to nurture the growth of herbs from seed, harvest and prepare traditional herbal medicines.
I graduated as a Clinical Herbalist and Reiki Master in 2009. During this Harry Potter like adventure I found myself completing certificates in; Iridology, Aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine.
Since 2007 I have been in practice as a Clinical Herbalist, Reiki Master and Intuitive Therapist through out Calgary and Alberta. As well as teaching courses in Herbology, Reiki and Intuition for well over 10 years.
